As a team lead you are expected to lead and expand ServiceNow projects. You are able to inspire the client by hosting sessions and demonstrating the endless possibilities with ServiceNow. You build relationships with key decision makers and become a trusted advisor. Also you keep in mind one of NowNation's main objectives: "Building Consultants". Hence you are willing to guide and educate new ServiceNow consultants and are able to put them on projects for hands-on experience. As a Team Lead you are also welcome to join NowNation's management team, helping to decide on strategy and direction. What you do

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Lead to join us. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the design, implementation, and management of ServiceNow solutions that align with their business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow, IT systems, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities: 

Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing relationships and ensuring satisfactory service delivery.
  • Understand client needs and business objectives to recommend and design ServiceNow solutions that deliver value.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss project progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions.

Solution Design & Implementation:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices and client requirements.
  • Oversee the integration ServiceNow with existing systems to ensure seamless functionality.

Project Management:

  • Lead project planning, resource allocation, and execution to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and other consultants.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.

Technical Expertise & Innovation:

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and team members.
  • Conduct technical assessments and audits to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization in client environments.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed project documentation, including design specifications, implementation plans, and post-implementation reports.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible for future reference.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT consulting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior consulting role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading IT projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience with architecting ServiceNow solutions

Certification:

  • CSA
  • Minimum of two ServiceNow main line certificates (i.e. ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CAD, SPM, IRM)
  • Bonus: ServiceNow CTA

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow and it's main modules
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree / similar level of thinking
